Can Soft Drinks Cause Cancer?: The Danger of Soda Pop

A recent study published in the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention found that individuals who consume two or more soft drinks a week had nearly twice the risk of developing pancreatic cancer compared with those who don’t drink sodas. Pancreatic cancer is rare, but often lethal because it is seldom detected in early stages, according to the Mayo Clinic.
