I have been creating handmade herbal soaps and body products for more than ten years and in May of 2014, I opened The Herb Room, a retail shop in the charming village of Wimberley, Texas. After 2 ½ years of serving the community in The Herb Room’s tiny space, we have grown and blossomed into the space next door!

The Herb Room renovations and growth include an Organic Tea Bar serving over 40 organic & fair trade teas and a variety of The Herb Room’s custom crafted “in house” tea blends. Our interactive tea board is where you can smell and see the beautiful teas that can be purchased by the cup both hot or iced, or by the ounce. Enjoy each handcrafted cup at our tea lounge tables or relax outdoors in the organic gardens.

The Herb Room carries my signature handmade botanical soaps as well as an expanded and even larger selection of organic medicinal and culinary herbs, spices, teas, tinctures, essential oils, incense, books, local gifts, jewelry, and accessories for the Body, Bath and Home.

As a botanist and herbalist, I am passionate about resourcing local, sustainable, and organic products as much as possible. I create The Herb Room soaps using whole plant botanicals, aromatherapeutic essential oils and herbs that naturally color and scent every handmade bar. I use eco-friendly sustainable packaging that is fair trade, biodegradable and artisan crafted from plant-based materials.

The Herb Room supports a healthy planet, practicing sustainability and reducing carbon footprints in everything we do. We compost all of our tea bags, and use 100% compostable cups, lids, straws, and stir sticks. Reduce, Recycle, Re-use!
