Anderson County PAWS is an open-intake shelter that provided help to approximately 7,000 animals last year. Kim Sanders, their director and veterinarian, says the goal of PAWS is to find loving and wonderful homes for all of the animals that come into their care.

In an effort to reunite more animals with their owners, all of the animals in the care of PAWS Shelter are now listed on the website https://www.petango.com/AndersonCountyPAWS.

Should you believe that one of them is your animal, please come to the facility during business hours to see the animal in person.

Should you need to turn an animal into PAWS Shelter, please call during business hours to set up an appointment or email [email protected]. Animal surrenders are done by appointment only.

PAWS Shelter is located off of exit 19A from I-85 Drive 1.5 mi take ramp right onto Bypass 28/ Pearman Dairy Rd. Drive 5.9 mi turn right onto Hwy 29 south. We are 0.5 mi on the right.
